The Land Rover Defender is still one of the longest running automotive nameplates in the Nepalese market. The utilitarian Defender has been around in the Nepalese market, in one form or another, for more than 30 years. In a sense, the brand name is favorite here because the old Defender was available for purchase right up to the end. For the first time ever, this rugged SUV is now getting a major makeover.CarAdvice reports the new Land Rover Defender will make its first international appearance in September this year. The confirmation came from Tim Krieger, Jaguar Land Rover’s General Manager of Communications & PR, who told the publication deliveries will begin early next year. After years of being left out, the new Defender would now be sold in the U.S. as well.[gallery size="full" ids="8565,8566,8567"]As per reports, the new Land Rover Defender will be offered in two different body styles – a two-door and a four-door model.
